The Wahl Rex Corded Dog Clipper will provide outstanding results for home groomers who demand a superior product.
It’s lightweight (620g), quiet and works with a low level of vibration, which is great for noise sensitive dogs. This high performance pro quality mains operated pet clipper features a taper control to enable variable cutting lengths ranging from 0.8 mm to 2.5 mm. Also included in the kit are two attachment combs, 6 mm and 9 mm, to provide further cutting lengths.
Powerful and robust with a precision drive unit which provides extra power to cope with thicker coats. This quality means that you can cut through a wider range of dog coat types without pulling the hair.
Which Dog Clipper To Use
Not all dog coat types are suitable for clipping, in particular double coated breeds including, but not limited to, Labrador, Husky, Chow Chow, Malamute, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and Pomeranian.
Clipping may result in irregular patches of alopecia and a condition known as ‘coat funk’.
If you’re not sure what type of coat your dog has or if they have matting, it is best to seek out professional advice first.
